Abstract

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Nanotechnology Research Group (NANO+) organized her 4th workshop/conference on nanotechnology in 2020 via Zoom due to the restriction imposed by COVID-19 pandemic. The conference with the theme ‘Human Existence and Resource Utilization: Extending the Frontiers through Nanotechnology’ was held between 27 and 28 October 2020. The conference was attended by about two hundred participants including scholars, policymakers, and students from more than fifty institutions and government agencies across Africa, Asia and Europe. Participants joined the 2-day event from Nigeria, South Africa, Sierra Leone, India, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, China, Sweden and the United Kingdom. This book of abstracts contains the schedule of activities, welcome addresses, keynote addresses, goodwill messages, invited/plenary lectures, abstracts of forty-three (43) presentations and a communique of the conference.
